Rock Monahan

It is true for the Monahan's that talent and passion for music runs in the family. Rock Monahan, the son of Pat Monahan who is the lead singer of Train, is a 10-year old upcoming rockstar following in his dad's footsteps. Growing up with his dad always singing around the house, Rock always had an interest in music and singing but, it wasn't until he went on stage with his dad for the very first time in September of 2021 that he knew for a fact that he wanted to be a full-time musician.

Rock's talents include singing, playing the keyboard, and strumming his guitar. Additionally, he has recently taken up the drums and is getting better and better by the day.

It is no surprise that he has been inspired by "Play That Song" by Train, but some of his other inspirations include “Sweet Child o’ Mine” by Guns n Roses, “Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush, the new Stranger Things hit, “BANG!” by AJR, “Master of Puppets” by Metallica, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears, and “Starlight” by Muse.

In his free time, you can find Rock building legos, playing frisbee with his dad, or swimming in the nearby lake!
